Kraft-i Roller... Paper bead roller and quilling tool

The Kraft-i Roller (pronounced Crafty) is a multi use tool for use with paper. It works great for making paper beads, and for those quilling projects that take larger size paper strips. One day while using a toothpick to roll paper beads I became very frustrated and told my husband that there just had to be a better way. We put our heads together and came up with the Kraft-i Roller.

As shown in the pictures above, the Kraft-i Roller has a slotted pin attached to a handle which works great for holding the edge of a strip of paper. This keeps the paper from spinning and slipping and allows you to make a tight roll. Once your bead or quilling piece is completed, it slides off the tool with ease.

The tool itself measures approximately 6 1/2" in length. The slotted pin measure 1 1/2" long and makes a size 1/8" hole in the bead. I sell the Kraft-i Roller here on my blog or you can go to my Etsy shop: JustJennDesignz

Elephant Necklace

I love elephants! When I found this pendant, I just had to buy it. A few weeks later I went back to the place I bought it from only to find that they were sold out and not getting any more in. I have yet to find this same elephant anywhere.
This necklace is made from hand rolled paper beads, glass bicones, metal spacers and of course the beautiful elephant pendant.

Autumn Sunset Paper Bead Necklace and Earring Set

Autumn Sunset is my latest necklace & earring set. I created it using hand rolled paper beads and accented the set with brown and bronze beads for a dazzling finish . The name for this set, "Autumn Sunset" came from the radiant pendant that reminded me of the sun setting in an early evening autumn sky.

A necklace to share ~ Hawaiian Sunset

I just finished this necklace last night and thought I would share a couple of pictures. I named it "Hawaiian Sunset". It actually turned out better than I thought it would. The long beads are made from paper and the rest are beads I had laying around. Hope you like it,

Paper Bead Tutorial for Beginners

Good news! I have just finished creating a tutorial I call a "Paper Bead Tutorial for Beginners". This new tutorial contains 15 pages and includes pictures and instructions to help you on your way to making your own unique and beautiful paper beads. The tutorial comes in a downloadable PDF format which will be sent via email.

If you purchase a Kraft-i Roller from me, I will include the tutorial for free. If you are interested in the tutorial but do not wish to order the Kraft-i Roller, I am selling the tutorial for $4.00.

Even though the tutorial it is written with the Kraft-i Roller in mind, there are many things you can substitute the roller with such as a round toothpick, a knitting needle, a nail etc. Of course I recommend the Kraft-i Roller as it is an easier solution to rolling your own beads.

I'm back from vacation

Hi everyone... I am back from vacation. We traveled to upstate New York to visit my brother-in-law. Went over to see Niagara Falls on the Canadian side... Horseshoe falls is just absolutely gorgeous!!! On the way home we spent the night in Lancaster, PA and toured around the surrounding areas yesterday. It is nice to be home though.

Medallion frame

Sock what???

Monkeys that is. I remember always thinking that sock monkeys were so cute, but never owned one. I am not sure what I was thinking about for sock monkeys to pop into my mind, but they did. Soooo, the other day I did a search on Google and found the neatest sock monkeys and their friends. My favorite one is the moose which you can find by clicking on the link below (the cow is adorable too!!!). I tried doing a search to see if I could find a pattern that is similar, but didn't have any luck.

Vintage Style Journal - Imagine

This vintage style journal is covered with pretty patterned paper on both the front and back. The front is adorned with an off white tied ribbon and two layered Prima flowers with a button in the center as well as glitter on the edge of the petals. Near the top of the journal is the word "imagine". Tied to the spiral rings on the side of the journal are strands of "fun fur" yarn with beads attached to give it that final touch.

* There are 152 lined pages (76 sheets).
* Journal measures 5" wide x 7"long.

I just loved putting this journal together. I didn't have an exact idea in mind when I began making it, but this was the final outcome. Sometimes it is more interesting when you don't exactly know where you are going with something.

Wall Hangings

The images on all wall hangings are printed on inkjet fabric and then "heat set" so the colors will not run or smudge should it become dampened or wet. They really have to be seen in person as the pictures just do not capture how precious these wall hangings really are.
